Do not call 9-1-1 for: Road / Travel / Severe Weather Information, Household /Auto Repair Emergencies, Loud Noise, Littering, etc. For these types of non-emergency Fire Company or Ambulance calls please use the toll free non-emergency number for Lancaster County Communications 1-800-691-3473 and for all non-emergency police related calls please call the PA State Police at (717) 721-9925
TECHNICAL PROBLEMS: As we are all aware, no system is perfect and there have been rare occasions the Lancaster County 9-1-1 system temporarily malfunctions (such as during a severe electric storm). In the event that you would call 9-1-1 and get a message that it is “temporarily” out of service,
